WILL I NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING FOR PRIVATE OMAKASE?
Be sure to provide all instructions in your reservation necessary for us to arrive safely and on time at your home. We require hosts to confirm that they have access to drinkable water so staff and guests can wash their hands.
We will bring our complete kitchen setup including a rice cooker, cutting boards, towels, dish soap, and more, as well as table settings such as plates, utensils, napkins, placemats. Additionally, we will ensure your space is tidied up after the course finishes. All we ask is that your kitchen area, including the sink, stove, and island to be cleared, and that drinks and drinkware are provided for each guest.
HOW LONG DOES THE OMAKASE LAST?
The duration may vary depending on the size of the party and the number of guests. We typically arrive an hour prior to the start time to set up the kitchen and the dining table or counter and to prepare such as cooking sushi rice and cutting fish. The dining experience usually lasts 1.5 - 2 hours, and our cleanup takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Please inform us of any allergies you may have. While we can accommodate gluten and dairy allergies with advance notice, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate vegetarian, and vegan diets for our omakase experience.
DO YOU OFFER A PARING SERVICE?
We're not currently offering a pairing service, but if you consult with us, we can suggest drinks such as Nihonshu (Japanese sake) or wine that complement the dishes, allowing you to enjoy the best food and drinks together. Please feel free to ask about which drinks match your omakase course!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I MAKE A RESERVATION ?
To ensure that we can source freshest and best ingredients for your event, please contact us at least a week in advance of your preferred event date. If you have any specific date for your event, we'd recommend contacting us as early as you can.
HOW CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?
You can make a reservation by submitting the reservation form on our website, or by contacting us via text, email, or Instagram DM. Please provide the number of guests, event location, and your preferred course, so we can inform you of availability.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE FOR PRIVATE OMAKASE?
We are based in the Dallas Fort Worth area but are able to travel to other cities in Texas, such as Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Amarillo, Tyler, and more. If you'd like to reserve Omakase outside the DFW area, please feel free to contact us via text, email, or Instagram DM for more details.
